Warrington Foodbank Launches ‘Warm Winter’ Appeal
Sadly, we are on the precipice of the cruellest and coldest Winters ever for many of our service users in Warrington. Many are already choosing between heating and eating and many more will simply not be able to afford to turn on the heating or even make hot food, if they have their services cut off.
In order to try and combat the pending chill and discomfort felt by our guests, Warrington Foodbank has launched its ‘Warm Winter’ Appeal and are asking for donations of:
- Hot water bottles
- Hats, gloves and scarves (adults & children)
- Clean blankets
- Coats (adults & children)
- New PJs – (adults & children)
All items can be dropped off at:
Warrington Foodbank Distribution Centre, Unit 2 or Unit 9 Tanning Court
9.30am – 7.00pm, Monday – Thursday
Golden Square Information Centre
10am – 2pm, Tuesday – Saturday.
