Give Help

Volunteers are at the very heart of Warrington Foodbank. And your skills could be just what we need.

There are thousands of volunteers across the UK, helping The Trussell Trust Foodbank Network get emergency food to people in crisis. We want you to enjoy volunteering and there are lots of ways to get involved. Whatever role you choose, you will make a real difference to the life of someone in crisis.

Volunteers for New Town Centre Location

Are you a confident communicator and an active listener?
Can you spare 4 hours per week?

If so, then we would like to hear from you, to help out in our new town centre location.

Our new volunteers will be the friendly face of Warrington Foodbank. They will welcome shoppers with a smile, and chat openly about the important work we do to support local people in crisis.  They will also provide confidential advice and signposting, to people who may need to use us, as well as receiving donations from the generous people of Warrington.

Our new volunteers will work together in teams of 3, Tuesdays to Saturdays between 10am to 2pm. And we hope that this new venture will commence on Thursday 15th October 2020.  Full training on Foodbank policies and procedures will be provided.

If you would like to be considered for this new opportunity to support us, then please complete our Volunteer Application Form (Town Centre)  returning it David McDonald, to the address on the form.

Warehouse Volunteer

We need help to weigh, sort and store donated food before being made into parcels for collection by our clients. You could help in this vital work to ensure we have the right food available at all times.

Foodbank Centre Volunteer

Meet clients and give out food parcels. Have an informal chat with clients over a cup of tea, to discuss their situation and signpost to further support.

Would you like to help your local community?  Do you have a few spare hours a week?  Does your workplace support volunteering leave?  If the answer is YES, then why not join our passionate, dedicated team of volunteers?

If you are interested in volunteering, please download and complete a Volunteer Application Form, returning it to the address on the form.
