Volunteers are at the very heart of Warrington Foodbank. And your skills could be just what we need.

There are thousands of volunteers across the UK, helping The Trussell Trust Foodbank Network get emergency food to people in crisis. We want you to enjoy volunteering and there are lots of ways to get involved. Whatever role you choose, you will make a real difference to the life of someone in crisis.

School Uniform Shop Assistant (Golden Square)

We need help to run our preloved school uniform shop at Golden Square. Duties will include helping customers, accepting and sorting donations and keeping the shop clean and tidy. A smile and the ability to work within a small team is essential.

Food Pantry Assistant (Latchford / Fearnhead)

This role will require yourself to be involved with welcoming customers into the pantry at Latchford or Fearnhead and assisting them with their shopping. You will also be aware of stocks on shelves and be able to replenish where needed. A pleasant and helpful attitude is essential as you will be the first person that the customer will be interacting with.

Foodbank Centre Volunteer

Meet clients and give out food parcels. Have an informal chat over a cuppa and signpost to further support.

Warehouse Volunteer

We need help to weigh, sort and store donated food before being made into parcels for collection by our clients. You could help in this vital work to ensure we have the right food available at all times.
