We’re in urgent need of volunteer drivers to collect donations from the local supermarkets and collection points and drop at our Warehouse in Warrington. Duties could also include helping out in the Warehouse, loading and unloading deliveries and transporting stock. Volunteers may also be required to deliver to our more vulnerable clients in the community.
Volunteers must be a minimum of 25 years of age and hold a full, clean driving licence. Drivers can use their own vehicle or have access to the Warrington Foodbank transit van, if preferred.
Drivers are required Monday to Friday, the hours vary and can be on an ad hoc basis, ranging from 9.30am until approximately 1pm. Often drivers will only be required for one or two hours per day. Volunteers can opt to drive for one day or multiple days, as convenient.
If you can spare a few hours a week or more, please visit our website – https://warrington.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/volunteer/ – for more information and to apply.
