Christmas at Warrington Foodbank
As the days grow colder and the nights longer, we are reminded that for many families in Warrington, winter brings extra hardship. Thanks to the support we have received throughout 2025, Warrington Foodbank has stood strong but help is needed now more than ever.
A Year of Impact
Because of our supporters’ generosity we were able to:
- Provide over 7000 food parcels to residents of Warrington throughout the last year.
- These parcels supported over 2800 different households facing crisis.
- One in three people we helped was a child.
These numbers tell an important story — one of compassion, community, and care in the face of hardship. Every statistic represents a real person whose dignity and hope were preserved because people chose to act.
A Voice from Our Community
Our volunteers are at the heart of what we do. They welcome, listen, and offer kindness as well as food. Lou, one of our dedicated volunteers, shared this:

The Winter Challenge Ahead
As heating bills soar and costs rise, more local people are reaching crisis point. We are already seeing growing demand for food, toiletries, and emergency support.
That’s why we’re launching our 2025/26 Winter Appeal — to seek additional support so that no one in Warrington has to choose between heating and eating.

Reverse Advent Calendar
We’re excited to launch our Reverse Advent Calendar — a creative way to give back this festive season. Instead of opening a window to receive, participants add an item each day (such as tinned food or toiletries) to a box for local people in need.
It’s a fun, meaningful way to count down to Christmas while supporting Warrington Foodbank.
